THREE FISHING TIPS
Bluegills

1. Choose the Right Bait

Bluegills love worms, crickets, and small minnows.

Hook them lightly to keep them wiggling and attracting fish.

If you don't have live bait, small jigs or bright-colored plastic lures work great too.

Bluegill

2. Fish in the Right Spot

Look for bluegills near weed beds, fallen trees, and docks in shallow waters.

They like calm, warm areas.

Early morning and late afternoon are the best times to catch them close to shore.

3. Go Light on Tackle

Bluegills might be small, but they put up a fight!

Use a light rod and reel with 2-6 pound test line.

This setup helps you feel the bite and enjoy the battle without overpowering the fish.

A small bobber can help you see when you get a bite.

Happy fishing!
